Dialing 211 will provide information following a natural or man made disaster to find resources or information updates to help you cope and recover from the incident. In the event of an emergency, information can be accessed by dialing 2-1-1 (or on cell phones: 858-300-1211) or going online at the link at www.211sandiego.org for assistance. Of course, if there is an actual emergency you are experiencing, dial 9-1-1 for fire, police, or medical help. When there is not an emergency incident occurring, 211 is also a resource for tracking down community agencies for health and human service needs.
